Does anyone happen to know where and how the mounting plate in the picture below mounts? When making a minor adjustment to the AC belt tension, it simply fell off on the floor. It was not possible to see where. It looks like a plate to screw up against the ac adjustment bolt?
Edit, ac belt tension problem, see below:

It may have been located above something, when the accessory was moved, it fell on the floor.

The ac adjustment bolt is not long enough to put pressure on the ac unit, holding it in place for belt tension. Every belt I have tried, whatever length, does not fit the adjustment range.

The ac adjustment bolt is significantly shorter than the slot the ac compressor can be fixed, in place, for proper belt tension. When using the bolt, it does not have enough range to put tension on the belt, it squeals. That is why I thought there was something behind the bolt, that it did not just bottom out on the side of the block. Just trying to get my belt adjusted,
Any Ideas?

Maybe post a picture what you are calling the adjustment bolt. The adjustment bolt has a nut on it that need to be loosened.
