I was looking around online and i could not find a registry for UR quattro's anywhere. i seen there used to be one but the page doesnt exist anymore. I found one for the typ89 chassis coupe quattro so i sort of used his site template to create a registry for the UR quattro's. So if your an owner of one of the 650 cars in the USA please register your car. I'm very curious to see how many are left plus its i feel its a good way to keep track of other owners to share information and parts.

Here's a link to the site.

Is this the one that you found not working?

Bill Brenner was the originator. Hung out at Audifans, window stickers, get togethers, etc.. Somehow connected to Quattro Club USA.
Maybe the Audifans, Quattro List archives would offer some info.

Bill Bremer has his registry, but in my experience he won't share information from it with you except giving you basic information (color, modifications) on _your_ car if he has it in his database, but won't give you the names of previous owners or information on cars other than your own. So, if you are looking for a public registry, you will need to look elsewhere.

well im attempting to start a public registry. i personally would like to get to know and meet other UR quattro owners. basically im going to leave the google site up there and if people use it yay, if not oh well. im actually going to start another registry for URS6 avant's as i own one of them too.

There's a few of us keeping track of the cars, and many owners want to remain private.
I've been keeping a registry of the 85MY cars, and dbldmnd has a pretty extensive list of all of the cars.

This is a great idea!

Thank you! i dont know why they want to stay private, the only problem i ever had with other people and mine is people keep trying to buy it every time i park it outside or people taking pictures of it lol. why hide such a rare car?

I just bought an 83 I don't mind being in the registry. It's not as if these are that known outside the die hard audifans. Crap I got a ton more looks driving my 4kq than my Urq.
With such few cars remaining and even fewer parts you would think all the Urq folks would be holding hands.

I really don't know, but I always respect the owners wishes.
There is one of these for the E30 M3, as well as other Bimmers.
It's very cool to see if there's any other cars out there in the States with build #'s close to mine.
Some are sequential...which is awesome.

After 25 years (and literally 1000's of hours) of compiling urq information I can identify well over 500 cars with either partial VINs and/or photos. It's true that some owners are very private and don't want information publicized. I've been organizing my data for the past few years and feel it could be time for a web site which details the cars w/o tying into owners private information. It will basically document the cars that have existed(or still exist). There's more than you think. Domain names have been purchased, I just need to take the next step. I have a significant personal investment in compiling the data so I'm not going to give it away. I am always more than willing to share information with other urq historians, aka Sepp and Martin, but finding the correct level of disclosure is a challenge. And according to the letter I have from AoA, it's 668 cars brought to the US. 8)

I don't have a lot of history on that car, build date 3/82, white/tan leather, 115k miles, originally helios blue. I don't have 320 in my list but 321 was also helios/tan. If you a have an engine # I'll add that to my records. The pictures I have from the ebay listing show its a little rough but definitely worth saving. I'm just glad to see another enthusiastic owner wanting to preserve these cars.

I dont have it online anymore but there was a version of my b2 registry I had online on version1 of my site.. I would be more than happy to put it back up and have folks enter data.. it is VERY comprehensive and sortable by all sorts of fields..

http://b2resource.com

I know mixtery used mine and many others and I put a LOT of effort and time into it.. I can put a version back up so y'all can screw around with it..

it is completely editable and anyone can enter data.. so theres no need to have me go enter everything..

I do have it listed, but not much info. Mars and brown leather, when I first added the car to my data it was in Chico, CA. flat euros, 3b swap. I would guess build date is 2/82. I do have a 107, mars/brown leather that was a CO car, but now lives in Germany.

Yes all that is correct! 2/82 is the build date.
3B swap from a CA VAG tech. Orig paint. Chassis has 166k on it.

yes its was helios blue and some tard painted it white and did a very poor job might i add but its currently torn completely apart and is getting a full bare metal restoration back to its original helios blue inside and out. all rust is being repaired with OEM sheet metal from a 4000 parts car i bought. where do i find the engine number?

Here's a few pictures of the car since i took over ownership of it for your archives.

here's a pic from the day i picked it up. the guy who owned it is sitting on the trailer. im the nerd under the hood lol.
Image

I just wanted to pressure wash it and ended up blowing all of the white paint off.

Front clip off hunting for cancer and what has to be repaired.

old deck lid was rotted out so i had to replace it plus the original wing was missing. oh and i found the OEM smoked tail lights and european filler in the car too.
Image

I this was the day it left to go to my friends shop for all of the body/sheet metal work and full respray. i retracted the bumpers in because i hated how stupid it looked with them sticking out like i had a work bench on the front and back of the car. reminded me of my scirocco 16V when i got it.

Thanks for posting photos. Looks like a great project, I'm glad to see people bringing these cars back.

For the engine number, look on the left side of the block below the water neck and back a few inches. It's stamped into a flat surface there.
