entering zip code = no go.

lat/long (40.1106/-88.2072) = no go.

i've tried both firefox and ie.

Don't forget that you can go to Google maps, find yourself, right click on or around your house and hit "get directions to/from here" and it will put in the correct latitude and longitude for you. That's how I did mine.
