I seem to be a little late to the party!!!!

I'm trying to upgrade the firmware from v1.01-v1.02 on my IIc.

Apparently I'm more computer illiterate than I ever realized.

I've found the download page at 034 and saved everything to my laptop.

My question is how does the upgrade work and how do it?

Is it as easy as just running the new .exe file or do I need to flash a file to the ecu?

Or am I missing a firmware file that I need ?

I just need a little guidance...

Thanks in advance !!!

The answer is: none of the above!!

What you downloaded was the program you run on your laptop in order to adjust the ECU.
They have different program versions depending on what "firmware" your ECU has!

If you want to upgrade the firmware on your ECU, 6you have to pay 034 $75 and they will email or ship the file on a CD, they stopped supporting the ECU's so I don't know if they offer this service anymore......

Thanks for the reply!

034 has no interest in supporting older ecu's and will not sell me the updated firmware....

so it looks like I'm shit outa luck!

A lot of us are. I have stuck with both of my IIC's while others have switched to VEMS. Now what do we do?

I own 2 034 "1C" ECU's, I just bought another one for spare parts/replacement!!

At least they're cheap!

You gotta find a sucker like me who'll buy your old ECU's

Not a bad idea!

I think I'm now in the market for a backup IIc...
