Ok everyone, after working on this for over 6 months, we finally identified the problem and were able to fix it.

If you own a Stage Ic or IIc 034EFI ECU, this is a free update to fix the ecu reset glitch which would cause the ECU to resent its internal count and result in a .5 second period of non-running.

Problem ended up being in the Motorolla processor, not our code, but we were able to write a work around, in 2-weeks of testing we have not observed the cut out once and fully functional operation, so its now ready for release. Several users have been running it as well with good results.

No other upgrades or changes have been made to the SW.

To facilitate the upgrade, you must own an ECU and must send us a screen shot of your "ECU ? Screen".

For instruction, please go to: http://www.034motorsport.com/article_in ... les_id=153

Thanks everyone for your patience and cooperation in the matter.

Unless you have purchased an ECU in the last few days, you do not have an updated ECU.

Did this really completely eliminate the glitch always and forever?

So after the upgrade what were the new downsides? Did I hear something about more picky timing wheel requirements and no cross hair or highlight for the cell that the car is operating in? Etc?

I thought it all worked great for what it was. The home shortcut worked fine.
