Quick question to anyone running an audi with a variable intake on 034 stg II.

What is the current draw for the intake switchover valve? Can it be run from GPO 3 or 4, or does it need to be one of the high current drivers?

Cheers,

Kieron.

It needs to be a 1, or 2 if driven directly. If you have one of the 034 relay boards you can use one of the relays on that board to drive it with GPO 3/4, or use a similar low current relay w/diode of your own.

Thanks for that newt.

I take it the diode is to halt any back emf from the relay coil, will a 1n4001 do?

Or do you have a bosch part number for the relays in the 034 relay board?

Thanks,
Kieron.
