Looks very nice!

You got some very nice Audi projects man.

Oh and Squabbler, I would worry about others thing before the driveshaft. That's easily shortenable.

I have to shorten the driveshaft.. so its not drivable. i haven't tested to lock the center diff it might be possible..

:stupid:

With all the cutting and welding, it wouldn't be that big of a deal to fit the sedan windshield and door window bits I wouldn't think.

But otherwise you guys work fast...!

If you can get the center locked, you'll be able to do your first burnouts in your Shorty... :D Granted it'll only be the front wheels, but oh well.

it's not a big deal but hard to find a cl 80 to get doors and a pillar and windscreen.

i am in the process of doing the same, i've found out, that you can actually use the 4 door roof (same partnumber, only b-pillar in a different spot), just cut the b-pillar, order new upper b-pillars from dealer ship (2 inners, and 2 outers), and weld them in place, on the excisting bottom b-pillars of the CQ, they are quite cheap from the dealer (if still available, i'm gonna find that out) this is what i'm going to do.

off course, you still need 2 2-doors doors (weird sentence)

i already have 2 4door roofs, and have the 2door doors, so no problem there.

where are you ordering your bodykit?

I don't know about the windscreen, I think it might look alright if the chassis was lowered a lot.

I think if he's driving and I'm in the passenger seat the car would be plenty low LOL

Good memories of where my project was a few months ago! Good work so far. I definitely agree that the upright windshield would complete the look nicely.

yes, it does look goofy, compare it to the real one, even the c-pillar isn't modified on this one (the c-pillar needs to be more upright as well)

I actually prefer the lines of the car with the more sloped glass. I guess it depends if you are going for something custom or trying to make an exact copy. Great project!
