well it is time to start working on this again so i have bought a Porsche boxster shifter to go along with all the other Porsche linkage parts to make it shift, the funny thing is the boxster ,VW's and Audis all used this 012 transaxle but the ones that come out of a Porsche or so they say they want $1000 for

the wiring diagram is nice but i still dont know what wires are ground or signal or 5v referance and all i am doing is puttting the plug ends on a megasquirt harness and that wiring diagram shows where the wire go but not what each wire does

I'm using VEMS rather than MS but I'm guessing the wiring will be very similar so

Throttle pot:
+5V : black/white (the thin wire, there is another thicker black/white wire in the standard loom that is a coil pack supply so make sure you get the right one)
GND : black/brown
signal : blue/brown

Idle Valve:
fused supply : brown/red
earth via ECU (this may be different on MS!) : brown/blue

Great project BTW
