MLS gasket?
If the head or block had a low point there it would make it weaker.
causing a failure point, but power and cylinder pressure is always going to be a factor.

Bad injector leaning out one cylinder. Bad FPR leaning out all cylinders and this one went first. Hard to guess. How much power were you making? What fuel, what timing?

Hi
Thanks for all the replyes

Its my coupe quattro with twin turbo v8
We was making 1240 nm and 790 hp to the crank at 1.7 bars.
Fuel is 99% Ethanol and max ignition at 1.7 bar was 14 degrees
It could have been lean, i will do a flow test.
Have also found out the studs on both sides of the blow out are a bit more lose on the threads to the sides than the rest of the studs.

This arera in the block has been repair welded, so that could be it

I'd say you answered your own questions and also HOLY BLOODY FOOKIN SHOITE, MATE!!!! That's a lot of power and using a repaired, untrue block when you can get another block for a c-note... well, that's just silly. I think the lesson here is don't be silly.
