I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing something similar to this. I have a IIc on my 200 running V1.01.00 firmware. Once every couple days (car is daily driven) the ECU does something funny. It's like it hiccups momentarily and totally turns off the engine for what feels like one loop of control. Depending on how you are driving, you get different results. Sometimes you hardly notice. Other times if you are making 25psi of boost, it's violent. I used to chalk this up to crappy tuning on my part. However, the car is finally dialed in pretty well. It still does this. Anyone else seen this or am I special? :bashtard:
Any news on this... My 1.8t powered by IIc has the same problem. Not everytime I have driven, but here and there, under light load cruising on the freeway- small blip and then she's fine.
Issue occurred on "C" level firmware after 1.00.14 but prior to 1.01.09.
There was a second update from 1.01.09 to 1.01.16.
This is a free update to 1.01.16 for all firmware 1.00.27,1.00.28,1.00,00,1.01.01 and 1.01.09. To get this update go to the 034motortsport website and follow the instructions.
