During May 2015 I got a mail with the question: "Do you want to buy our 5000 S?" - "Well, of course a sedan, right?" - "Nope. Station wagon."
The daydream started and I answered "YES...I wanna have it!"
From my current point of view...I own nowadays two of four known 5000 S Avant in Germany. :)

Does anybody get the meaning of its licens plate? Z-SE8(astian) ;-)

Thank you!
I wanted to swap the 1.9TDI-engine of the yacht either into a 2.5TDI or 2.3l gasoline engine for having back pure 5cylinder sound. Then the second 5k showed up and the Money for the yacht´s engine swap was used for buying the second 5k and the brand new gearbox. Its worth and I still have the curious 1.9TDI in the yacht and enjoy the sizzling of the K24 through the very large K&N air filter! :)

There are some news regarding Earl Grey.
I re-arranged the tailpipe of the Ray Simons 2.5" exhaust system to original version because I didn´t like the chromed one and I prepared a small 100mm diameter 100 cspi catalyst for it. It has been cheap...so...cheap "extra power" ;-)

- 1980 Audi URQ 6x15 ET45 with 195/55R15 Nokian

thanks. ;)
because its an original 5000 and therefore it needs its US-spec taillights.
suspension is a very strong modified and custom built one. took some hours of work :)

Aloha.

Some pics of the grey station wagon since my last reply few years ago.
