cool. probably should be carefull but it would be fun. I wonder what power you need for an all wheel burn out using just throttle?
What else would you use? :D

If you put really skinny AS tires on you'll have an easier time. Oh inflate them to max PSI. :bashtard:

All burnouts do is attract the fuzz.

straight burnout or donut? and that's without droping the clutch? right?
You gotta release the clutch pretty quick...I did that with an 016 car, never tried it in an 01A car. I would just get oversteer in the rain with the CQ if I tried around corners. Actually, i got it a few times in the dry too if I tried.

Could!=Can :-D

I'm sure you will be able to again.

OnT:

Did a post purchase inspection; need to replace a few boots, mounts and seals (to be expected).

Looked at the program and got the idle a little more stable. The O2 is suspect so not > idle tuneing yet.

Checked out mounting a S2 IC and it looks like it will "fit" but will be a tight squeeze.

Stage 1 will be fixing the maintance things, replacing the O2, installing a DV and Cat (dynamic emissions in Denver), and getting a solid tune for 5280'.

After that more POWER :p

CQ's rotate and drift really nice in the rain (dry too, but takes a lot more entry speed and hair on the boys). It's all about the snap lift-off on turn in, and really good timing. Once they're hung out they'll stay out there a good long time. Ask Derek last time he rode in the coupe, and that was NA form :p

Cold starts were a bit ruff so I increased the Cold Priming Duration to 15 MS and the # of pulses to 15 they were both 12 before.

Good thing since it was 0Âş C this morning! Fired up fine but idle was ~500 until I opened the throttle to back up. Prob need a ISV to get a little extra air in the system.

Gonna do any track/autoX events this year?

Nate doesn't know what cold start means anymore living out there on the west coast. Bastid :p

Yeah, it has been mild here but cold weather is never out of the question (we were well below 0Âş F a few months ago).

Once I get the O2 replaced I'll work on the closed loop controls.

Exactly. And like I mentioned there's no idle control other than mechanical, so you'll likely need to bump the idle up a little where you're at, altitude wise.

Hmm, last trip the coupe did to tahoe we woke up well in the negatives, thank-you-very-much! I just get to drive to which climate I want to be in now, rather than having to be stuck in one for a 1/4 of the year ;)

I bumped the idle up Tuesday night, it was not so bad but no reason to live with it; especially since it was 70 this week :D
