I was going to make one of these project threads on the vortex - but not alot of action over there and the attitudes suck.
So scored this car from PNW - still awaiting title of course , why would it be an easy cross country transaction?
1986 Quantum Syncro Wagon

All wheel drive of course

Clean - rust free
interior is fabulous
Great snowflakes.
Has chineese door handles which i dont love - but they work for now - so they get to stay.
A/c been converted to r134a - needs charged up but everything looks to be in working order - i am going to wait until spring to worry about it, getting it ready for the winter now.
Car showed up missing the outer passenger side window scraper and the window regulator didnt work. Things that were not mentioned in the ad - he claims ( previous owner ) that the window worked fine and must of got damaged in shipping.. and the scraper must of fell off or got taken...
Window regulator - found on http://www.car-part.com for $50 shipped - took me 10 minutes to replace it , now it works fine.
Speedometer dont work - tore out dash today - to install stereo and pull the cluster - come to find out the speedo cable from the tranny to the o2 box was all sorts of bound up and broken. So gotta find one....
I havent enjoyed the car much, drove it back from Omaha a few weeks ago when it got delivered via - http://www.dasautoshippers.com HUB TO HUB was affordable. But i am still waiting on the title so i havent drove it much..

On my way home from omaha - i didi some wheel whoring - 5 17's Monte carlos ( 5x100 ) and 4 4x100 Steel wheels all with tires - fit PERFECTLY in the car

Speaker pods for both front doors and the rear ones that are in the wagon ( mount above the rear shocks )
Speedo cable from tranny to o2 sensor box.
I have this wonderful 10v turbo motor

Been trying to sell it - i would trade it for parts / wheels - shipping kinda sucks but could be done.
Any sources besides audifans.com or vortex?
