2004 Audi S4 171k+ miles
Nogaro Blue exterior
Blue Alcantara/Black Leather interior
6-speed manual gearbox
4.2L V8 DOHC 340hp 305tq
Magnaflow 2.5" Stainless Catback w/integral x-pipe Retail $1050
Gutted main and pre-cats
JHM short shifter
Goodyear Eagle GT tires at 50%
Rotella T6 engine oil
Rubber and carpeted floormats
Bose sound system
Sunroof
Full superwhite LED interior conversion
Front heated seats
Cold a/c, hot heat
Drilled/slotted front and rear brake rotors
New battery last year

Cons:
Engine burns 2-3qts in between 3000mile oil change intervals
Some cosmetic rock chips (highway car)
CEL on due to gutted cats P0421 & P0321 catalytic warm-up efficiency (does not affect performance)

Absolutely the best car I've ever owned, smooth torquey engine, handles like a dream and especially very comfortable on long trips(North Carolina once, Ohio twice and a few trips up north). I cannot go anywhere without getting compliments on how clean it looks for 170k miles and the Nogaro Blue is an exclusive sought after color that pops. Reason for selling is I bought a house last November and need to free up some cash for a cheaper DD.

No trades, CASH only

Thank you!

Will sell for $7k to fellow MGer, need to sell by the end of the month to qualify for new Cruze Eco incentives!

This is typical b6 v8 behavior. I would suspect that is why the price is so reasonable. Id rock the crap out of this thing if i was in the market. A friend of mine has one with similar taste for oil, still runs strong.

oh, i know these things have an oil fetish, nothing a rebuild wont fix, was just saying
if I had garage space and 7 grand sitting around, I would get it as well
Rebuilds can't fix cylinder walls, but you could ignore it and have fun anyways. BTDT!

im sure they could be replated ($$$), but i would just put some thicker oil in and give her the beats.
Eh, these are alusil blocks. Some people go on never-ending quests to find machine shops that properly bore/hone/etch and install oversized pistons to fix cylinder wear.

Sorry for the thread jack. Great car and great color combo. Always a pleasure to see another high-mile S4.
It does have the chain rattle at startup, I forgot to add that to the listing..oops! It has done it since I bought it 2.5 years ago and using the Rotella T6 oil made it quieter. It also has been using oil since I got it. I'm being completely honest with all this, it could use a little bit of love but I don't have the funds to keep it on the road: ie: i just bought a house a few months ago and now that is my baby.

My plans are to get the cruze and hopefully buy something later on involving a 20vt :)
I have heard dealers would inspect the cylinder walls and if no scoring were present then they would just replace rings....anyone can do that
Perfect for a 2.7 TT swap

Dude I would be all over this in a new york minute if my Avant were ready to sell. I need to get off my butt.
Oh, have you done a compression test?
No but burning oil I can't imagine its great.

Just bought a new cruze and need this thing GONE...6500!

*sale is pending*
Are you sure it's burning the oil? These motors are notorious for oil "seepage" that never makes it to the ground. Just a thought. :p
Oh man....
