7a stalling after warm start

1991, No Codes, 034 injectors, 034 big maf kit and software.

This only happens when the car is restarted after sitting for 15-45 minutes after being fully warmed up.

When I start it, it stumbles to idle, then after moving and bringing the rpms up, it stalls when I let off the throttle/come to a stop. The only way to remove the issue is to let the motor fully cool down.

If the car warms up to full temp from cold this doesn't happen, only when starting shortly after being fully warmed up.

I replaced the ISV about a year ago with a brand new OEM unit $$$.

I am fairly certain there is an unhappy sensor somewhere... anyone BTDT?

Mine exhibits very similar behaviour but doesn't go as far as stalling but it does stumble to bring the revs up to idle on a warm start. 034 injectors, all else is stock, no codes but running rich at the moment. I have new knocks and temp sensor that will go in once I have some more time.

Unfortunately I don't have a solution but I will be watching the thread :/
I put in a new coolant temp sensor (back of head) less than a year ago when I did the VCG...

I might just start going through all the sensors and replace them one by one.

I did the same - replaced the sensor and still had issues...
turns out that the connector was broken internally causing intermittent issues.

I recommend you pull the boot on the connector and check the pins...
I just learned that you can check the readout of the coolant temp sensor via. the diagnostic channels of the Auto CC unit. I'll have to check it next time the issue shows up to see if the values look off.
