For sale: 1994 Audi S4
If you are interested in this car, I probably don't have to explain what this is, but if not: This is the original Audi "S" car, a true autobahn machine. This particular one is, in the words of a local Audi performance shop, "the nicest one I've seen in a long time". It is Emerald Green Metallic over Ecru leather interior, both in very good condition. I've maintained the car as if I was going to keep it forever (because I was), but wife wants a minivan now, so I need to sell this or my wife's Passat 1.8t 4motion Wagon with manual transmission. I can't decide which one of my German babies to sell, so I'm putting them both up- whichever sells first is the one to go.
The car has the following modifications:
Summer wheels are polished 17" BBS RK's with Dunlop StarSpecs in great shape
Winters are 17" B5 S4 Avus with Michelin Xi2's and H&R 12mm spacers
(new last fall, probably only have 1000 miles on them, and one is being replaced this week because I found a slow leak that turned out to be a sidewall puncture).
Lehman Stage 1 ECU tune
993 Porsche "Big Black"/S6+ front brake upgrade with Apikol brackets and lines
'92/1BE/Euro Spec sport springs and Sachs Advantage (AKA Boge TurboGas shocks)
Euro headlight lenses with DDM HID low beam conversion, clear corner lenses
Complete set of 034Motorsports silicon intake and boost hoses
EFI Express LS2 Coil kit
RightClick keyless entry system
Magnafine filter on hydraulic system
Car currently has 180,xxx miles, has a fresh oil change, and has been maintained at Anderson Motorsports, Further Performance, and Imola Motorsports. here are some highlights from recent maintenance history:
166k: Installed cleaned/rebuilt fuel injectors
167k: All new lower door moldings
168k: New timing belt/water pump/CPS/belts/etc
168k: New clutch, transmission mounts, fill with Redline MT90
168k: New O2 sensor
173k: Install Apikol front brake brackets and new SS lines
173k: Replaced hydraulic J hose, flushed Pentosin
175k: Install new Hirshmann power antenna
176k: Install brand new hydraulic pressure accumulator
178k: Install '92 spec springs, new Sachs advantage shocks (front and rear), new hardware including upper strut mounts (oe Audi), bump stops (oe Audi), rear upper control arms, etc.
this spring: Installed new mid door moldings
Whats wrong:
Hmm, not much. Drivers power door mirror doesn't move in all directions because previous owner replaced delaminating mirror and broke something inside, so I you have to push the mirror to move it. Cruise control is intermittent, haven't diagnosed because I never use it, but suspect vacuum hose leak or similar. Rear diff input seal leaking, priced as is, but I will get it fixed shortly (and have gear lube drained and filled), price goes up $500 when that happens.
Car is located in Minneapolis erikaddy "at" yahoo.com
$5400 with some miscellaneous spare parts I haven't inventoried yet (includes a spare BBS RK wheel).
