Ashes to Ashes anyone?

I ran across a preview for a BBC show called ashes to ashes, looks awesome and features the Ur Quattro as the lead characters car. With lines like "fire up the Quattro" how could you go wrong ;-)

Check it out:

Anyone know how to get this in the USA? Looks like the DVD's are all region 2 coded, couldn't find it streaming either.

never heard of it.. but completely won over by the producers love for the quattro it seems.
There were only two seasons of the show, it kind of sucked. I watched a few episodes on BBC back in the day.

It used to be on Netflix. But just like 'Beavis and Butthead' and 'Sponge Bob Square Pants', it has disappeared. And region 1 DVDs are not ever likely to be produced.

That being said, both seasons are available as torrents.
Ive seen it. a little slow for our American short attention span audience. wacky plot.

Just very cool to see an Ur quattro star in a tv series, not unlike the Gran Torino starred in Starsky and Hutch, or Jim Rockfords Firebird.
I think they used the soundtrack from a V8 not the turbo 5 IIRC :-(
Yeah, most shows/movies do. And 90% of the time its a Ford Mustang 5.0 sound, whether or not its a Honda Civic or Cadillac limo or Chevy Caprice police cruiser.
I have all 3 seasons, and they used the actual sound from the ur. They had two cars during the shoot, one with 6" ronals and one with 8". Loved the show for the Quattro content and if anyone liked Life on Mars will enjoy the characters as well.

Here is some more info

no beavis and butthead on netflix? welp didnt have netflix before and i definitely wont now lol

fire up the quattro-best tagline ever
It was there one day and gone the next. But in a way that's ok, as none of the episodes had music videos. The videos with B&B's commentary were what made the show, IMO.
