What is the mode button for? Never figured it out and don't have the manual.

If a tape is playing and you hit the mode button it switches to the radio without ejecting the tape and vise versa.

Austin.... did they make cd changers for this head?

Which head unit? Yes there are cd changers earlier require a RF transceiver box. The later cars(C4) are hard wired.

It's the bose head that's in a 1989 Audi 200. I'm guessing I need the RF transceiver box? Do you happen to have a photo or part numbers?
