I am actually looking for S2 Avant already to do the same thing
My original idea was to find a nice A6 2.5 quattro avant to import, but I find those cars a bit too big for my liking.
S2 would be perfect.

I guess turning an RS2 into a diesel would be sacrilege. :slap:

In the states or getting one from the uk and importing it (not sure if you can yet)

Getting cheap over here. Just gotta decide do I want to do this or carry on with other projects, my urq still needs finishing

ah ok not too bad then. There is a lhd 2.8 cq on ebay currently in the uk I noticed it the other day, there was one 10v lhd avant quattro in the uk on s2forum but not sure what happened to that.

looking back over this thread, I saw the pictures of the accident, if you've not already done it since the accident then at the exit from the ic into the crossmember put a piece of silicone over this rather than relying on the o rings inside this as they are prone to leaking. Its a quick and easy mod that is worthwhile doing.

I actually have a hose (reducing) with clamps.. its a common mod that the S2 guys do in Europe. Thanks!

Yeah i've had xtuners faces before, its just a shame audi no longer sell rs2 speedo cluster surrounds and a genuine set is about a grand now.

What cluster did you use to swap the dials over onto?

Its been quite a while since I did my last set, I remember sending a guy in America a set of rs2 ones a year or so ago as I wasn't expecting to use them.

Thanks, i'll get some faces ordered up. Just wish I never sold my genuine rs2 dials. Shame audi does not make the surround anymore
