Yes, work is progressing. Slowly but at least I know where it is.

On a related note the 90 blew up its engine.
#3 cyl dropped a valve.
Broke the injector and cracked the head.
I have a chance to buy it back but not sure if I want to bother.
It would make a perfect S2 sedan copy.

No, but the 90 tdi might be returning to me. If it does it will be going AAN this time.
The 80q will remain the only diesel project I will be doing.

AAN is really good engine. Would make it really impressive.

Engine is gone, but the block and crank are fine.

1T block, so same as AAT.
Only difference in later AAT/AEL blocks is the location of crank position sensor and matching ring on the crank.
