B4 is a V6 and B3 is a 4 or 5 cylinder so springs are different. B3 rear is similar to B2 cars, and B4 rear is similar to B5 cars..

Why do people keep saying that the B4q uses a B5q style suspension? B4q is obviously older than the B5q, therefore the B5q uses a B4q rear suspension (they almost entirely interchange from what I remember).

Any which way you say it is true. If A=B then B=A regardless of their order in the alphabet.
