Has anyone had luck with any kind of fix for these 034 radiator hoses? I know this is probably a sore subject for some, but figured I would ask. Am I stuck putting a rubber hose back on, or is there a good way to keep these silicone hoses from leaking through the wrapping?
If it's leaking through the outside of the hose probably not. If was just the ends I recommend getting some ABA Safe clamps and trying some
permatex hi tack gasket sealant on the fittings. https://www.permatex.com/products/gaske ... t-sealant/ But yeah rubber or samco's or Roose motorsport. Could also try calling or emailing 034.
These hoses are kind of old now, so I'm sure 034 could care less.
Well, it's leaking through the end of the hose, like it's soaking through the braiding in-between the silicone layers. Little pink balls on the end of each strand.
I found my old hose from when I did the swap, and put it on. Not as pretty, but should do the job well, and hopefully save me some money by not having to be dumping 500ml of coolant in every couple days.
