GI: 4.2 40v V8 (AWN) from a 01 A6

Thinking about purchasing something so trying to cut down on my projects.

Complete minus alternator, MAF, and fan clutch.

This includes the harness, ecu, all reservoirs, the subframe mounts also.

Lower oil pan was punctured car was shut off after. I have not ran this engine but it does spin freely.

Do you have an AC compressor off the V8? And by any chance do you know if it fits the 32v V8 (ABZ)?

Yeah I have one tossed the other. Don't know if it's fits though.
How different are the 40v blocks vs the 32 v blocks? Any clue?
Sorry don't know. I'd bet it's fine the car was shut right off literally.
I ask because I'm looking for a 4.2 for my 1990 v8 and wonder what kind of work a 40v would be vs the basically bolt in of the 32v 4.2.
From my recollection I think the block will bolt up to a 016/01E. Obviously motor mounts would need to b fabricated and u would need a standalone ecu/harness. I'm sure other things would need to b addressed as well.....
The block will bolt up to an 01A/01E because my other one is bolted to one.
I see. Prolly best to stick to a 32v then.
