Well since I replaced My torn wastegate diaphram last week I figured I'd sort out the boost solenoid vaccum line situation yesterday.
I got sidetracked while tracking down bad e-code headlight relays and figured I might as well fix that while under the hood.

Long story short I bought this 5k over a year ago with the torn diaphram and always lived with boost cut...basically I kinda babied it
and drove it below boost cut levels. So between two disconnected and routed wrong vaccum lines, a broken 12V wire on the boost solenoid and
of course the torn diaphram I now have a properly working spooling purging turbo and what a difference...it's like a whole different car now.

I guess I never noticed how much of fear of boost cut I driving with till I fixed it....she really pulls like a mule now...grins all around.

There are a few things in life better than flooring a turbocharged Audi, but not many! :D
