I'm getting excited about crank the engine, but I just want to make sure about some things before the moment of true.

1. I mapped the injector triggers according with injector number. Trigger 0 to injector 1, trigger 1 to injector 2, etc. So, when I do the configuration I place then in the cycle according to the firing order, right? like:
Configuration Screen
Injector Driver - Injector Trigger
#1 #0
#2 #1
#3 #4
#4 #3
#5 #2

2. The coil + wires remain the stock one, right? It seems that they are controlled by a relay not affected by the removal of the stock ECU.

I might have more questions later today.

Thanks for all your support,

Carlos.

I think it should go more like this based on a 1-2-4-5-3 firing order.
Injector Driver (cyl #) - Injector Trigger
#1 #0
#2 #1
#3 #4
#4 #2
#5 #3

That's the proper way to do it. assuming your wiring looks like this

Injector Driver - Cyl #

#1 #0
#2 #1
#3 #2
#4 #3
#5 #4

You're right about the coil, you just need to hijack the (-) wire

Jim,

Thanks for replying.

My bad on the firing order, but the general idea is confirmed.

When you say hijack the "-" you mean that I keep the positive the way it was and the negative gets substituted by the trigger from the new ECU (the one with the 1 OHM resistor), right?

Thanks again,

Carlos.

ps. It looks like that I'll be cranking it today!!!!
