Hi guys, well i always hand wash my cars. I have a feeling that im doing it wrong, theres swirl marks on the paint and theres some like water run down marks that dont wash off, and only polish off... So whats your guys procedure? What products you guys use? Then for polishing. Is it ok if i hand polish it? What polish should i use? Same thing for waxing.

I use a 5 gallon Home Depot bucket with a grit guard in the bottom. (some people really advocate two bucks but I'm just not that OCD)

I really like grout sponges for scratch free washes. Also a cheap Home Depot item.

For soap, I like using the Chemical Guys CWS_102

I also recommend a twice a year coat of Collinite after a clay bar prep.

Polishing is a whole 'nother ball of wax (no pun.) Check out the Autopia forums if you really want to learn all there is to learn about car paint care!
