FIA would be ideal but I will settle for one that will qualify for Targa Newfoundland.

Some progress.
So the B-pillar cut I performed was a little too optimistic.
Lucky me I had couple new inner pieces (full length) for reference.
Once the B-pillar is established it will get located on the rocker panel and welded in.

Nice progress. I'm assuming the RF clip on the last picture is going on, how much welding to secure, is it spot welds, continuous weld or some of technique? Will be interested in seeing pictures of it.ralleyquattro said:

No, that panel is original SQ and will only be used as reference.

Chassis is now tacked together, happy with the door gaps etc.
Also fixing the bottom A pillar.
Also the e-brake metal going on.
Next step is off the jig onto repair table to make sure its all square before final welding.

Its been a while, but the project is moving location.
Not by choice, but it is for the better. Same person, just different place.
Andrew did a good job welding it together, now it can be towed like a car. LOL
The S2 was called into duty. Thanks to that Euro spec trailer hitch I was able to move the Sport to the new location.
Nothing like a 20vt power to pull the project along.
