Hi All,

Just wondering (dangerous thing) when an 034 IIc with a header on an otherwise completely stock-engined WX would overpower the stock intercooler.

The thinking behind this is that I have a missing exhaust stud, you know, the inaccessible one. Hopefully that's the problem, but it may be a cracked manifold... So, if I have to pull the intake and airbox ANYWAYS....

I'm guessing the intercooler would be good to around 250hp crank. Right? Way off?

Cheers,
Brady

Brady, these things are always tough to say, BUT, IME you're right, I wouldn't use a stock WX IC on a motor for much over 250hp, granted, you could still make 2275 or 300hp with great inefficiency due to lack of cooling capacity and flow restriction, but anything over 250 and I'd seriously consider an upgrade, it is pretty small.

HTH,
Javad
