Hey anyone,

Ok I called Majestic turbo,and they quoted me $320 to do a re-build,and re-balance. I'm just trying to get a feel for whats needed,and whats not needed. I know for a fact that the turbo has seen 30psi ,but for how long I'm not sure. I have a bit of free play in the shaft,but no sign of rubbing.
I bought this turbo a few years ago from Force5,and I still have no Idea what it is internally. It was on a 10V turbo that Semple parted. The hotside and cold side housings have Turbonetics cast into them.

Turbonetics = Garrett....
Wow I dont know what to say. Thank you for helping me out :wtf:
I'm pretty sure its a T3-T4,but not what the trim is. Can the bearings be replaced without balancing?

Sometimes I'm full of helpful insight :wink:

Yes, you can replace the bushings and such w/out getting it balanced as long as you mark how the compressor wheel is aligned on the shaft (or in relation to the turbine wheel).
