These are each going to be getting a little faster but in different ways. I am kinda leaning toward the second option. Please vote, and then tell me why here.

pearl urs4 gets rs2ed and silver urs6 avant gets abzTT with 6spd

.....or......

pearl urs4 gets abzTT with 6spd and silver urs6 avant gets rs2ed

Clearly the Avant should get the abzTT, because well....avants are awesome....TTv8s are awesome.....so....birds of a feather!
silver avant is such a kickass car, i think that one should be v8tt (what about single turbo?) Top mount? Side mount?
my thought is this:

the URS6 avant has a much higher re-sell value, keeping it somewhat original will maintain and improve that value (rs2 setup generally adds decent value), the urs4 sedan isn't a very expensive car and can be found pretty often for around 2k, i think putting a big engine into it would improve its value. I think adding a v8tt into a urs6 avant would probably lower the value for the majority of the people who would buy it.

If these are just for you to keep forever and you have no regard for value, do what you want! if you plan on selling them, you might want to consider value.
if you are worried about value, don't put money into old audis.

disagree. I have made plenty of money by fixing and reselling old audis. all of them took money to make money.

BUT as a generally rule you are probably right, do it because you love it, not for the money. I still think it is important to say that it will help maintain value and minimize losses.
i was just poking a bit of fun. I basically funded my 90 project by buying every older audi i could find and flipping it or parting out. Took in plenty that way but wasted it all on the build
net zero I suppose. That is a good point about the value though, but if you did a good job you could probably find a buyer for a turbo s6 avant. Especially if it was well documented.
