Finished the headers up earlier last week...

I ordered some C4 4.2 tie rods as they have a bend in them to clear the heads and water pipe crossover tube.

So, been a minute but quite a bit of progress...

Engine made it's way into the car.
Made a dual 3" exhaust to single 4" axle back
Wired it all up (I've since then gone through the harness and got rid of all the wires I didn't need... it was a lot)

Just waiting on a new crank sensor and I'll go ahead and fire it up. In the meantime I'm knocking out the last little bit. Mounting and plumbing the radiator/coolant lines. After that, it's driving and tuning time.

good progress, few people at the point of firing up v10 conversions.

Where did you get the wheels from? genuine porsche splits?

Congrats on the startup, how much you got left to do before you will be doing donuts in the car park again?

-I have the radiator which is mounted (Should have all the plumbing sorted out tomorrow).
-I need to loop the power steering lines until I can get a new rack (Also tomorrow).
-Clean up the wiring and tuck the engine to chassis plenum (Tomorrow or Saturday)

Waiting on my URS 4.2 tie rods to come in from Germany as the 2.2t don't clear the rear coolant crossover pipe.

Then its just a matter of getting the tune right. Already talking to Blake who did the 4.2T setup. Id say the next month or so!

Thanks man, it's pretty much 99% there now! This past weekend was a success and t's always a scary feeling going out for the maiden voyage, but it made it + an additional 100 miles of driving yesterday (too excited to not be driving it)! I've seem to have lost connection with the K-line for the OBDII port (Even though I had it before...) so I need to address that before we have it tuned.

Yea she's been great so far. I had to put a 4" Vibrant muffler on it, it was just too insanely loud without it (although a cut out may be in the works for the future)
