:x Ya,lets says someone(not me),bought the 034 7A injector upgrade, and ummm DIDNT bypass the injector resistor??? What would be the consequences??? Would you cook the ECU or injectors or both???? :D

Gee, "nothing" isn't an option? :D

Because that's the correct answer. Leaving the resistors in the circuit will not fry anything... at least not electrically.

It will affect the opening of your fuel injectors so the engine might run lean. But if was run for just a short time that way and not beaten on, you should be okay.

Right...and apart from running lean, are you saying there would be no long term affects to electronics? I was under the impression that mismatching resistance usually harms electronic components.

With the resistors still in the circuit, the injectors will not be driven as hard, as Eric alludes to above.
As the ECU was deigned to work with the resistors, won't hurt it..

(now if were a case of not putting IN resistors when you should have, that's a way different story! Smoke can get out then.. :)

Yeah... resistance mismatches in general are worse one way than the other. Connect 8-ohm speakers to an amp rated to drive 2-ohm speakers and you'll likely be fine. Do the opposite and you'll probably have a chance to view the magic smoke come out of your amp.

In this case, the resistors are there to limit the amount of current that can flow through the stock "low-z" injectors. Low-z is a synonym for low resistance. The upgrade injectors have higher internal resistance thus external resistors are not required. If the resistors are left in the circuit, you just get even lower current flow - that won't smoke anything, but the injectors won't be driven properly and thus might not open for the correct duration.
