Question Regarding Check Engine Light in Instrument Cluster

I'd like to install a check engine light in the instrument cluster of my Coupe. There is already a spot in the back of the cluster for a bulb and my Bentley manual indicates which pin on the instrument panel connector is for the ground connection to this bulb. However, it doesn't indicate which pin leads to the positive connector. Does anyone know?

It just gets switched 12v from anywhere pretty much.

Yeah you're right. The 12v is shared with some of the other bulbs. I guess I was thinking there was a unique power, when the ground is likely what's being switched. I'm going to try to take the negative from the black diag connector and put it to pin 23 of the blue instrument panel connector. Just tired of fishing out the test light all the time to check the codes. It would be nice to have easier access.

On my stock early CQ ( after hassles with CA smog check) I just put the bulb in and it worked...
