etc.

If Tim currently owes you money or you had a bad deal in the past please post your story.
He keeps making promises to pay people but that still hasn't happened. Here's a public inventory to remind him.

Currently owes money to:
$1500 - Jeremy G in Washington State
$850 - Chris R in Washing State
$1k+ - Jason L.

Attempted to scam/Poor parts/Poor Delivery
Jeremy H in Washington, Paypal returned most of the money owed.
Dave P in Utah, received downpipe with no penetration on welds
Martin P in Canada, took 6 months to receive poor fitting product that was supposed to ship next day.

Ordered a downpipe and midpipe delete in August a few years back after I was told he had sets ready to ship. Didn't get it until December of that year and throughout the months was told it had shipped and was provided invalid tracking numbers on 3 seperate occasions.

Dont get me wrong they were great quality, but I'd never purchase directly from him again.

I may be one of the very few that had a satisfactory experience with him. I had only heard his name and someone directed me to his site when I was shopping around for exhausts. I didn't do any research on him but I decided to have him build me an exhaust for my UrS4. My plan was to go to him to have the exhaust done. I gave him the deposit (50%) and was told it would only take a few days to get all the materials sorted. It ended up taking a couple of months before I got the ok to come to him for the exhaust. When I got there I was expecting the exhaust to have been built and waiting for install. Instead I spent 8 hours there while he made the exhaust.
That being said, I did end up with a solid product and in the end I'm happy with the exhaust. It has lasted over 2 years now, now leaks/cracks/problems. Will I go to him again? Not so sure, especially after hearing the horror stories. It's really sad to hear what he's done to people because when I met him I genuinely felt he was a good dude.

He got some stuff from me in May of 2019, partly paid (after lengthy delays), but still owes 100 bucks. I've emailed him a number of times with no response since last October. :frustrated:

And yes he does seem like a nice guy in many ways, but how hard is it to a) keep your promises or b) realize you can't, and don't make the promises in the first place?

Heh... you're an awfully patient person!

If I told my boss I'd have something done in "a few days" and it ended up taking several months and then he had to stand around waiting 8 hours for me to finish, I would no longer be employed.

Your point is valid. I'd be canned as well.
