Has anyone ever wired in a door lock switch for the doors and trunk? Instead of having to use the key on the drivers door.

That’s good stuff but you still can’t lock everything from inside the car. I guess you could hit the key fob on the key chain.

You should be able to lock everything from the drivers door lock by pushing it down. There are 3 different positions you can put the trunk lock cylinder in one locked all the time unlocked or locks when the drivers door is locked.

Ok great. Thank u! I’ll try that soon. Have no battery in it right now. Will test the system soon to verify the car is working as designed. Now I can drive through Compton without any worries

on my 90 CQ I wired in a switch into the drivers door, I used a handle that had the factory switch, I just do not remember what it came out of, possible a 93-95 90, It was done back in the mid/late 90's
I just connected the wires to the door switch, I did have an issue where if the drivers door was locked and you pressed the open button it would pop the fuse, I think I eventually wired it so the unlock part of the button did not work as pulling the door handle would open the lock and unlock the whole car,
Then I added the Rclick system, the write up I did was done on my 80Q as my CQ already had a POS remote system installed that I modified for the Rclick (Which is still working well 11 years later)
