Hi all,

just got a 1991 90 Quattro and want to switch out the awful DOT NA spec headlights.

I have this article: http://www.20v.org/light.htm

Wondering where I can find these lights state-side at a reasonable price? I already have an RS2 front bumper that isn't going to take fogs/indicators, and I have cleared out blinkers (no more yellow edges).

The parts numbers for the Hellas are: 1AH 005 295-131 (left) and 1AH 005 295-141 (right).

Thanks fellas.

Not sure about state-side, or how set you are on using Hella lights, but I got a set of these and am happy with them. I did not get from this seller so no direct endorsement.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/321788669270?h ... SwAF5UahEI

Made by Depo. This set is $140 with free shipping all the way from Lithuania.

Excellent this is the exact same set I ended up buying last night haha. Thanks man! Hoping they work out. Anything is better than those stock US headlights.

Anyone have any suggestions on Bulbs? just got the depo's in this weekend and trying to decide if I want to do something stupid like use an LED H4 bulb like this: https://www.amazon.com/BEAMTECH-Headlig ... 068&sr=8-4

Or just get standard H4's like this: https://www.amazon.com/HELLA-H4P50TB-Pe ... 068&sr=8-2

I like the Beamtechs. I have been running them for a couple of years. Not quite as bright as HID’s but still very good. My setup is relayed but you might not need that with the LED’s since they draw less current.
