I've owned this thing for over 8 years, and I've had a lot of great times with it. It goes fast and does fun stuffs. It's currently on pump gas and I drive it to work and around occasionally but it mostly sits in the garage. I do have a decent E85 tune as well, the car is built to handle 400-450WHP (the max of the turbo)
THE GOODS:
3B block and pistons
Ported 7A head
ARP Head Studs
Aftermarket Connecting rods
EFR6758 Turbo
IMS Header, full 3” Exhaust
BIG treadstone intercooler core (Rated for 1000hp) with custom tanks.
Big oil cooler mounted up front with Intercooler
Fiberglass S2 bumper
Custom plenum'd intake manifold built off 3B runners
Custom solid engine mounts
Walbro 450 Fuel pump with mount to mount a second pump if you want all of the fuels.
Siemens 870CC Injectors
VEMS Standalone with adapter to go to stock 7A Harness (Added coil on plug, IAT, etc etc for boosted application)
Torsen rear diff done right with big inner CV's
JHM Shifter
KW V1 Coil Overs
Front sway bar added to the rear.
Front and rear alum. Subframe bushings (Rear not installed currently)
Delrin front CA Bushings (Are old and worn out. Need replacing)
Clutch net 6 puck clutch
Original CQ 01A
Rear strut bar
Front Axles rebuilt a couple years ago, not many miles on them at all.
All power steering lines, steering rack boot, replaced same time as front axles
S2 Steering wheel
PROS:
Runs, drives, dailyable if you don't mind driving an old, loud, stiff car.
Not rusted out!
Big(ish) turbo
Cool fancy parts
Cloth interior
CONS:
Paint is shot
Needs tires
Head liner sagging
ODO quit right after engine build (9 miles after, lol)
Lot of little things, It is, in-fact, almost 30 years old.
Hatch is flaking (Has been since I got it, no idea what did it)
~280K on dead ODO, chassis had 60k less than ODO. Have put probably ~5K miles on it since. Would estimate 225K on chassis
It is on stock wheels on sticky tires with okay tread now. The other wheels are sold. Pictures show breather coming off of valve cover, it has since been reverted back to the crank breather port because the valve cover didn't work well. Pictures show bypassed heater core. One of the lines had split, it has since been fixed. Heater works great. I fixed the heater box flaps permanently when I replaced the heater core ~5 years ago.
Feel free to ask any questions
Asking $7,500 OBO Located in Carson city, NV

I wish you lived closer... this is exactly what I’d want to swap into my CQ. I hope it never gets parted, but if so I’m interested in the ECU and other parts. My factory ECU can only handle about 7psi on my 034 kit before it gets angry.
Good luck with the sale.

What transmission? Regardless, this is a bargain! Hope it goes to a good home

Serious question from a motivated buyer: do you have confidence the car would complete a 2.6k mile relocation to the East Coast with minimal drama?
Potentially willing to negotiate an advance to address systems/parts that would need to be addressed prior to completing a road trip. Let me know, thanks!

I literally just took possession of an AAN, Iroz 10 injector manifold (similar design), 034 EFI stand alone, and high output coil setup. The only thing I’ll need moving forward are the exhaust manifold and turbo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
