This came out of my rally car and completed about 8 rallies with it before I had it torn down. Engine came from EuroSpec (now defunct) and has since been altered but refreshed. Previous owner said the engine made 25psi by 3500RPM at 380hp on 104oct with 40mm comp inlet restrictor (I have turbo specs if you wish). Engine safely capable of more but not possible with said turbo inlet restrictor (required for rally at that time, now it’s 34mm). This engine has a lot of low-down torque which made it awesome for rally, very noticeable! Engine hasn’t ran since rebuild but has been stored indoors in plastic bag with assembly lube to prevent rust. Estimated mileage prior to rebuild <2,500mi

-2.6L tall block (95.5mm stroker)
-Measured 95.7mm stroke and 82.8 bore (these are crude measurements done in my garage with cheap calipers!)
-Forged JE pistons, forged factory crankshaft, Pauter forged beam rods, APR rod bolts, ARP head studs, and oil squirters under pistons.
-Compression Ratio unknown but estimated to be 8.5:1 or higher.

0 miles since rebuild. Details below.
-Rebuilt due to head-gasket failure at Sandblast rally 2018. This block was originally fire-ringed which was an older technology for high boost engines. These rings were removed by decking the block and pistons. This work was completed by Billy at Ricker Machine in Hendersonville, NC who has done countless race engines (he’s an older guy and the only engine machinist still around that I trust).
-Block decked .030” and pistons decked .010”
-Replaced piston rings and inspected all bearings which didn’t need to be replaced. All other components were inspected at rebuild. Billy noted the pistons had zero scuffing and the cylinder walls looked great. He was impressed with condition of the engine. Likely due to the low amount of mileage, original build quality, race gas usage, and oil change intervals.

I'm selling the engine because I need the money. I wanted to keep this as a spare but can't justify it. I have zero concerns with functionality of this engine. Contact me for additional photos, measurements, or info.

Talk about a solid deal. It would be difficult, nigh on impossible to build this engine today for most of this cost.

The Eurospec built engine I have turned out to be a short deck stroker.
95.5 crank in a AAN 220mm height block.
If this was mated to a 20v head, there should be some signs of modifications done to the block.
Would love more pics of this.

Thanks guys. I was told the part number on this block pulls up as gasoline South African VW microbus block. I'll attach more photos.

Edit: sorry for the incorrectly oriented photos.

Sold to a good friend. It's going in his UrS avant with a big ol' turbo hanging off the side.
