Can't find it anywhere. It's NLA, Tradition doesn't have it, not on eBay... Any chance someone might have a spare? Part #3 on the diagram https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/etka ... 46/058100/As far as I can tell it can be found on ur quattros as well as on 1984 4000 quattros

nah. I already tried Pelican Parts (same parent company)
ECS has the very annoying and misleading habit of showing almost all parts as available even if they have no clue whether it is or not.
in this case they should already know it's NLA.

Found a nylock nut for it too. If it’s the same part # free just pay for shipping

It's a different part#. That specific part was only on quattros and very early 4000/80 quattros.
If I can't find the real thing somewhere, I'll find a fab shop to make me one.
Best I found so far is a guy in Germany who has the whole mechanism for sale but his looks as rusted as mine. I'm trying to renew the whole thing. Got a bunch of parts from Audi Tradition and eBay but this particular part is impossible to find in good shape.

Don't know where you are located, but if you get me the broken parts, or some really good measurements, I can make a new one for you.

I'm in Seattle. Would a CAD drawing work? Do you have access to a machine shop?

A cad drawing would be fine. I work in a machine shop.

Awesome! Give me a few days. I'll have to find the time to do it.
