Trying to fix my 200 non working speedo, and dim turn arrow with headlights on. Have read through sjm's instrument cluster section and have closely examined all the solder connections on the back of my cluster, which look perfect to my eye, and sprayed it all down contact cleaner/enhancer which didnt change anything. I havent checked the trans speed sensor yet, which i want to do before wicking any solder, but i assume bad solder joints is ultimately the problem.. so my two quick questions are:

1. I see this link (http://millerfactor.blogspot.com/2008/0 ... o-and.html) referenced in old threads on this topic, but the link no longer works, is there another reference to the same info somewhere, assuming its helpful.. ?
2. Any other threads i couldnt find on the soldering portion of it, I have no board soldering experience and dont want to destroy my only cluster..

gracias

Found this it shows remnants of that link https://vacn.no/forums/topic/214319-jor ... mentpanel/

Pretty simple just run a jumper wire as shown. That and re-solder and possibly jb weld the green sockets for the speedo head as shown SJM.

Watch some videos on soldering buy some good electronics solder(Kester 44) plus a half decent temperature controllable soldering iron and practice on something other than the cluster.
