Alright... I was going to wait to start this one but Boredom at work has overtaken me. This was originally going to be in a 93 S car, but my Three year Search for an Avant I wanted resulted in this... I had been stock piling parts for a while, and scored a car from a friend that had a shit ton already done. The car was neglected and unfortunately was better off parted. I acquired it through the failed attempts of a stock location tubular manifold GT30r project. She came with a 2bennett 01E 6 Speed, GT30, Koni's and H&R's, Stromung, Cloth candian s6 plus interior, Porsche 993 brakes, Jb Racing flywheel, a few small bits from 034 (throttle cam, short shift) euro heckblende and a few other little things. So far I have bought 034 IIc witha plug and play harness from s2 on the way on here, 65lb injectors, 034 density trans mounts and snubber mount. Im sorta sketchy about running the crank trigger wheel so im going to hold off until I have the money to get the steel 60-2 Flywheel from 034. Other than that and the exhaust manifold everything is almost ready to go in. As for the Avant, She has 106k on her and came with euro bumpers eibach and bilsteins (blown bilsteins) and a missing headliner. The car is a very clean non winter start but has a few marks on the underside that need to be fixed due to the previous owner having it so low. Progress will be slow and mostly what will be seen is things coming out until after the christmas expendatures. I've spent lots of funds trying to get this and the Scirocco finished at the same time...

Intake manifold out, making some room to move around to put the 034 in, polishing and looking for things in need of replacing...
Looking for things that need to be replaced... oh wait that thing i broke. Where can I get new brass niples to replace this one? Any auto parts store right? Never broke one of these before.

Did a heater core for my friend in his 93 s4 the other day along with a few other little things. I spent a little time cleaning up the engine bay today, and did a little more polishing. I was surpsised how pitted the valve cover was. Its still not finished but its close.
Tomorrows plan is to lay in the new wiring harness and figure out how I want to mount the new computer and relay board. The 60-2 flywheel from 034 will be on its way tomorrow if all goes well. Ill also be picking up some cloth tape that Caterpillar wraps their wiring harnesses in from a buddy when I go home for thanksgiving. Looks real good and cleans up the harness a lot.

Would have been nice to have this when I was working on my Scirocco. That thing is sorta on the back burner for now. Its three and a half hours away from where I live at the moment. Basically just needs some body work, paint and a few little things. Im hoping the wagon comes out well. It took me a while to find what I wanted. I had a 93 sedan before this. Loved it but I had to have an avant.

I thought you have had this car for a while now. Or am I getting you mixed up with some else that has a silver avant in their sig line? Some day I will have a s6 avant. I love my 95 A6 avant even with the weak 12v and auto trans @ 250K You should see all the tools you can pack in it with the back seat removed and the 3 row.
