Thanks Chris for that comparison pic. Got any stashed away that you might be willing to sell? I have mine that I can trade.

What I would do..... if I was going to keep the euro bumper.... put the IC in front of the rad. Seen it done on a few 450+ bhp cars in the UK. Just get a cheap ebay IC and run a slightly longer pipework tract.

I’d like to retain AC, but have seen some people run ICs above the cross member and behind the grill.

Found some time today to work on the floor pans. POR15 is on. 3 coats on the driver side, 2 on the passenger side. Next up, decide what sound and heat material to use.

Floor looks a lot better, good work.

What about using a 10v urq type of intercooler?

Did you keep the previous sound deadening in? Or scrape it out?

I removed it with a heat gun and scraper, followed up with some mineral spirits to remove the sticky residue.

How was applying the Por15? I’m about to do the same, I lifted the insulation of my coupes floor and also found some surface rust, so I need to go and remove all the old sound deadening and spray.

Not bad. The time consuming parts are in the prep (i.e. clearing the surface, degrease, metal prep, and letting it dry out completely). I applied 3 coats to the driver side and 2 coats to the passenger side. Make sure your area is well ventilated and use a respirator.

Made some progress on the suspension and brakes today. Rears are pretty much done.
