I'm sure that all your extra effort will be worth it, once you get some color on it! It looks great so far!!!

Ok it is all back in primer but i have found a few small things i need to fix like one door skin in a 90 degree corner and the driver side front fender has a small lump that needs sanding and a few pin holes and i am not sure i like the roof as it has a dip from where i joined it back together it seems no matter what i think it is never done and i can find something

well i have the doors , trunk lid & hood all cleared and looking good so i sanded the rest of the car so i could put a final coat or 2 of clear on but i when i was working on a car in the other bay a brake shoe hold down let go and you know it hit the fiero and chipped the paint ok no big deal i thought as i had not put the last clear coats on i will just repair it well that is where i was so wrong as every time i put base color on it would curl and wrinkle the paint what a pain in the but but today i did get it all repaired and will clear it tomorrow

Looks better than just "pretty good". You have done some nice work. Car looks totally different without the side slats and the lower roof line.
Now you need to take it to a VAG gathering. They will either love it or hate it. Only the stupid will hate it.
