Well since I am going to have this car for quite awhile and plan on returning it to it's former glory (and beyond), I might as well have a thread for it and introduce myself.

I'm Brandon I have been a part of the VW community here in the Bay Area for too many years to disclose :) This is my first foray into an Audi so I have a lot more to learn than I thought originally.

So enough about me and on to the car.

I picked the car up back in September of '12. Found it on Craigslist once I contacted the seller I realized I knew him very well for the VW community so buying it was a no brainer.

I have a lot of work to do to the car. First is to get the zero tune done and get the car running well. After that who knows. :)

Since I bought it I have done:
Nology wires
034 Bosch Injector upgrade
Upgraded Distributor (metal gear model)
Basic tune up (plugs, blah blah blah)
Replaced various switches and lights

1990 Audi Coupe Quattro (Canadian)
Color: Bamboo Metallic

Installed the Bosch 040 "High-Output"

Now my upper tank seal is bad lol. New one on the way though.

Nice car and I really like the colour. I had an A2 Jetta with a similar colour and never got a ticket in that car, it was like it was invisible. I wonder how rare this colour is but it is a great combo and hopefully the car treats you well.

This color was only sold in North America to the Canadian market. So it is pretty rare here in the states. I know there a few up in Canada. Thank you. Hopefully I can do it justice. Learning to drive strictly in Kilometers per hour has been the hardest part so far :)

I haven't delved to far into the cars history yet. I should though I am sure it has quite a story to tell. Yeah my long time friend Max Baker owned it before me. This car has an amazing service history. Tons and tons of receipts and a lot of the work done by 2Bennett. So it is really in great shape. Just a lot of things showing their age. Plus I really want to restore it into an amazing car again.

the engine bay looks so clean. i detailed my whole bay last fall, by the time spring came, it was filthy again. stupid snow. i'm jealous of your clean roads and lack of snow. lol

tint them windows to protect the interior some! one of the first things i do on a car.

Got the new cluster in. Looks like I need to combine my old one and this one to get a fully functional one.

Looking good. I do like that color, and the cloth interior is better than the leather that doesnt age very well(trust me I know all about that). The injector upgrade is a no brainer, but does the big maf upgrade add any power to a non-turbo application?

Yeah I doubt it adds much. It seems to run a lot smoother. I did pass the butt dyno. The car seems to have a lot more pull at higher rpms with this in. Which makes since. I am sure when i chip it I will see a bit more from it.

So I ended up losing this car a few years ago.

But now it is back and I couldn't be happier
