Hey all how you all doing?

I'm new here still finding my feet.

Ok so I'm having an engine built by somebody (I'm not physically able to due to breaking my neck at C4/5)
He gave me a list of parts to get and the only part giving me a headache is trying to find 7A cams.

A guy on eBay quoted me £500 which I can't afford as I'm on a tight budget, Does anybody know where I get them or equivalent?

I'll list the other parts tomorrow.

Any help appreciated

they are an uncommon part here in the states. they normally sell for $250+ here. I'm actually surprised they are more expensive over there than here. Supply and demand I guess.

Lots of stuff out of EU is going for alot now, and shipping is another factor as well. I know 7A cams most times sell for the $350 usd mark. Not to sure you "Need" 7A cams, they are nice to have but AAN cams can do until you can source a set of 7A ones.

The 7a will shift the power band up a bit in the rev range and give more of a kick when it comes on boost, the 3b/early aan with the dizzy when in a 7a bring the power band down a bit. There was a thread on s2forum about it.

Where are you located?

I "might" sell my 7a cams but they are still in the engine so I've not decided what i'm doing with that engine yet.
