Im trying to get my low speed fan/aux coolant pump to run properly on my 91 200.  The pump will run when i jumper the two terminals on the temp sensor, but not the fan.  The 2nd & 3rd speed of the fan function fine.  I've been through Sjm site extensively and have tried the following:

-swapped out the temp sensor with a spare i had

-new rad fan temp sensor

-check all fuses

-checked fan resistor pack

-swapped in good fan relays

The 214 relay in the main fuse panel is the one that clicks on when the aux pump runs with the jumper.  If there is a 2nd after run relay like referenced at sjm i cant find it for the life of me.  here are some pics of beneath my knee bolster & left kick panel.

there is also a pic of sticker on the back of the lower left kick cover that shows the relay but theres nothing behind it..

Thanks for any tips!

Should be another 214 to the left of the other one but the relay there may be the same check the schematic on it and see if it compares to the 214.

Good call on that austin, that's one I replaced, but it does have the same schematic, a standard 4 pin relay. Thanks. Buuut, i think i just figured it out! there must be some poor connections in the fuse box because when yank around the 214 relay (and same with another i swapped in or it) the fan will come one with the pump. So i bent the relay blades slightly and put in some dialectic grease and it seems to be good for now. I had a similar problem diagnosing my hazard lights not working, but it was the connection at a fuse blade, so im guessing my fuse panel needs a deep clean. I've used contact cleaner in there but its probably not enough
