Hi all. So my '91 90 is in need of some new wheels.. or potentially lots of things. The 4 lug 17x8.5" wheels I bought it with are way too fat for the fenders and are causing tire rub on even moderate bumps. They've gotta go. Trying to decide between a quick and easy 4 lug replacement, or if it's a good time to think about converting to 5 lug.

I know lots of you guys have done it. Thoughts on if it's worth it, or if I should be looking at upgrading to B4 fenders... etc etc?

obviously the 5x112 wheel selection is much bigger then the 4x108, so yes.
you will need new bearings, maybe brakes (depends on the hub you will use)

Got it. Wasn't sure if it required new bearings but I guess you break them to get the hub.

Any idea of cost of parts? The brakes are from a B4 90 (same as an Audi 200 I believe), so they are a little bigger. Will need new rotors for the 5 lug.. but I think the calipers should fit?

caliper: 200 had a few g57 (maybe?), ufo, and G60, just like the B4 90 (same as the CQ).
As for the disk: you can re-drill yours, or use something else, but it all depends on the 5x112 hub that you will use.
