OMG. I helped deliver the motor that was swapped into that thing. You bought that from Trevor in oregon didn't ya? I havn't seen that car in years. I believe there may be a project thread in here somewhere. Oh, the motor was a derracuda special.

Well, Trevor never got it running from what I read on here. I tried hitting up the infamous derracuda but he never got back to me. It sold in 2008 to someone for dirt. That someone got it running, did some work and sold it to the owner whom i got it from. The PO I purchased from had SJM Auto tune it, tossed a lot of new parts at it, but there are still a few things to finish (and do correctly). It pulls strong and has some go fast bits installed but it's not all 100%

I'll be finishing it off, going back to original 84 style bumpers, have a bit of a to do list to tackle but it'll be a fun project for sure! Drive home from Portland was funnn fun fun

Yes, definitely no negative connotations meant! Glad to hear he is progressing along with the family life!

I don't know if talking to Derek is needed at the moment, the car is running pretty good and has been gone through by SJM Auto up in the PacNW. There are a few hiccups to sort out but nothing major, and is kind of side lined right now while I shuffle my red 84 4kq to a new owner. That and my Ur-q project has a tight grasp on my attention right now.

I'll put up a build thread when i am going to start putting some time & attention in. Thus far, the only thing I have done is move gauges off the a-pillar (boost & A:F, everytime a cop cruised by I got dirty stares, they are now in the driver side cubby) and removed some fog lights not shown.
