His only possible defense would be to show how he faked the video. That, or (just thinking out loud) if he got caught speeding while making the video and was acquitted.

Glad I didn't actually post it, but IDK if I could get into trouble for it since there is no evidence of where I did it..

Say u have it on a memory stick and go to a buds house, then post it under his username or something...can they still track you down and press charges? I mean I know it's possible or at least seems liek it could be by the right person, but would that hold up in court?

Uh, yeah..... is there really an appropriate response to this? I've posted videos of the truck off-road and might post videos of the car driving a mountain road, but common sense would say 195mph is not a smart idea unless you are on a racetrack or a road in the middle of nowhere so you only kill yourself and maybe some plant-life or something....... like the middle of the desert.

Well there is a 2-mile stretch of interstate nearby with 8ft high walls, and no entrance ramps, three lanes wide. Some ppl go there after midnight when there is no one else on the road..If they crash they only harm themselves..Breaking the law, of course. Endangering others, no, just like if they were on a race course, except there you are usually endangering others..
That corvette guy was on the highway in the middle of the day with lots of other drivers on the road, not cool..

I've heard stories of a Dodge Colt bouncing off of the wall on I-480 at near 200mph while racing a motorcycle.

I also heard about a guy who used to find his RX-7's top speed every day on I-71 or the turnpike, about 10-12 years ago. but he stopped doing stupid things like that anymore. Plus there's too much traffic nowadays.

I knew a guy back east that out-ran a cop on 202 (divided highway with traffic-lights). They clocked him at 198mph!!!!! F**king nuts if you ask me...

They can only get him for reckless driving, maybe. He's obviously FLYING! But there is no evidence of any speed, etc. Not too smart on his behalf. A good enough lawyer could probably get him off if he doesn't have any priors.

Big brother steppin in after a snitch called him out.

Someone saw the video on his now empty YouTube page and called the police. It didn't take long for the Oklahoma City PD to get him to confess to owning the car, speeding, and then posting the video to YouTube.

He's way past claiming this or that or getting a lawyer to defend what he's apparently already confessed to I think.

It reminds me of this time I got passed by a lime green Viper that was flying, and about a mile down the road he was pulled over, then maybe twenty minutes later he flew past, and I caught up to him when he got pulled over again. He passed me again and I never saw him after that. Some people just have a hard time learning their lesson.

Part of me wanted to feel bad for the guy at first but after watching the video not so much. He had it coming, especially after bragging the way he did and posting multiple videos like that one on different roads and then putting them in his ebay ad the wrong people are bound to see that. Never thought law enforcement would feel motivated to pursue it but guess I was wrong lol

I stopped driving like an idiot a few years ago too, after I realized that even on the most desolate back roads, there is always another car on the road somewhere. Maybe going left of center on a blind turn, maybe stopped in the middle of the road to take a piss, (yes, happened to me once, nearly killed the guy) or maybe someone just going 15-20 mph under the speed limit so they are actually a hazard. (which happens daily pretty much)

There are just too many damn people. Around here anyways. It's not worth it.
