Haydn, what are you going to paint the walls with? You should paint a large area , if not the whole thing, with dry erase board paint. You could take notes and make lists everywhere. That would be cool...
then maybe he could get swanson to lay on his back on the scaffolding and decorate the ceiling with a dry erase mural depicting the "Hand of the Audi Gods"

OMG you are on a roll.... Brilliant!

Glad you are enjoying your new garage already!! just keep reminding yourself how SICK it will be when its done!

IDK if you have decided on what you are going to do with the floor.

If you have not made your mind up I can find out what they use in the shop at the retail locations from work (aka Pepboys). I sware to it, the stuff is invincible; I have seen employees do burn outs on it and it does not scratch the surface (After which I write them up for insubordination). All they do is take a mop and clean off the toasted tire and the floor is like new. Let me know.

That'd be cool, I was supposed to order my Epoxy today but work was crazy, just started to think about it.

Did you see my epoxy thread?

It is probably this stuff http://www.armorpoxy.com/armo2.html from what I am learning so far.

Yes I have. Very interesting stuff, just stay away from that two part stuff in a box, I looks great but wears away in months.
I will take a look into the company files and get back to you asap.

I just got off the phone with William Shull VP of Stores. Had a nice chat, he said it is a producted called Stonclad® made by a company called Stonhard.

Here is the link I found.

Very cool, Thanks for digging up that info. That stuff is SERIOUS!!!!

It looks like it is not an epoxy you can do yourself, it seems to be a system that is applied professionally and contains glass and other cool things.... Still reading.

Hey Corey, thanks again for the info. I am continuing to research and hoe to finalize the flooring decision tomorrow. FYI not really my dream garage as its about 6x too small, it'll do for now though :)

So got a bit done this weekend:

1) Guess what made these tracks. They were all over the place on Saturday morning.

2) Dusty! Final sanding on the second coat in the main shop is done, did a few touch up spots, so gotta sand those off again. Also need to sand the stairwell still, Should be priming the main shop tomorrow night.

3) Heater install, well hanging it at least. Step one is to paint the roof where its gonna go, then add the brackets, then bolt it in.

4) Had an old habbit raise its ugly head ;)
